Good morning!
I’m looking for a translation of a recipe ingredient: “tomates de bola”. I found this term in a cookbook written in Mexico.
I have two questions:
1. Does anyone know what the proper translation for “tomates de bola” is? One of the threads says that it may be “beefsteak tomatoes”, but when I looked at the WR dictionary, it translates “beefsteak tomatoes” as “tomate” o “tomate beefsteak”…
2. For the Spanish version of the recipe, do you think I should keep the name “tomates de bola”? Would most Hispanics in the US identify what kind of tomato that is?
Thank you very much in advance!!
